Volunteer Opportunity

SAA Support of 2nd Harvest Food Bank

The Spokane Adjusters Association has a history of providing support for the community. For the 5th year we are again supporting the 2nd Harvest Food Bank by participating in the Letter Carriers Food Drive . This food drive will take place Saturday May 10, 2008 .

We have been given the responsibility for the Northpointe Post Office which is located at 9857 N. Nevada St. Spokane . (Behind the Northpointe Shopping Center) At this location we will be removing food that the letter carriers have picked up on their routes and loading it into a semi trailer.

We will be there from 9:30 A.M until the last carrier returns from their route, which historically has been about 4:00 P.M.  The Post office is an excellent sponsor of this event and make sure that the adjuster get fed and have plenty to eat.

We are again asking for the support of the members of the Spokane Adjusters Association. You can also bring your teens, spouses and neighbors to help in this event. This is an excellent opportunity for your teens to participate in a community service.

Please RSVP to Bob Carr at  rocarr@safeco.com if we can count on your support.

President’s Message: April 2008

Greetings fellow adjusters:

Please make an important note that our next meeting Thursday May 15th is our annual Member Appreciation FREE pizza night. It has been moved to Five Mile Heights Pizza Parlour at 6409 N Maple St. , due to the unfortunate fire at Savageland Pizza in the valley.

Please note that we will have our elections for next year’s officers at this meeting. It will be very important to have your input, plus share some pizza and refreshments. Team prices on beer & wine. Pop and pizza is free.

Remember the 2nd Harvest Food Bank Letter Carriers Food Drive ; this Saturday, May 10th, from 9a.m.- 5:00p.m. @ the Northpoint Post Office, which is located at 9857 North Nevada (Behind the Northpoint Shopping Center).

The 50th a\nnual Spokane Adjusters Association Kenny Falkenburg Golf Tournament is coming up Friday June 27th. We are going to have some great and large prizes, so work on that swing and come on out and join the fun.

I am keeping this short on purpose. As always, if anyone has any suggestions, comments or concerns, please feel free to contact me. Until next month… Happy Claims.

Respectfully,

Carl Otholt – President

Spokane Adjusters Association
